Commitment to Privacy Shield, Enforcement, & Recourse
In compliance with Privacy Shield principles, CultureFactors commits to resolve complaints about your privacy and our collection and use of your personal information transferred to the United States pursuant to the Privacy Shield. Individuals from the European Union or Switzerland with Privacy Shield inquires or complaints should first contact CultureFactors.
If your concerns are not resolved through our internal processes, CultureFactors has further committed to cooperate with the European Union Data Protection Authorities and the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner to address unresolved complaints, including for issues involving human resources data.
If your complaint is not resolved through these channels, under certain limited circumstances, you may be able to invoke binding arbitration through a privacy shield arbitration panel. See Privacy Shield Annex 1 at https://www.privacyshield.gov/article?id=ANNEX-I-introduction for more information.
CultureFactors is subject to the authority of the Federal Trade Commission.
Information We Gather
CultureFactors gathers or maintains information on individuals through our website and marketing efforts. Information gathered through these efforts includes name, e-mail address, phone number, IP address, time of visit, and location data. This information might be gathered via online forms that you submit, and of course you are not required to provide this information to us. Personal information may also be gathered via cookies and other similar automated data collection tools. Cookies are small text files that are created and stored when you visit a website that tracks your movement and activity within the site and are used to provide more personalized and relevant content to you. We may utilize third party vendors to help maintain and analyze this information. Your continued use of this website constitutes your consent to gathering and transmission of this information.
We may also gather your personal information through our relationships with employers and research institutions. In these cases, we process your information under the control and direction of those employers and institutions. Information is gathered through our surveys, questionnaires, assessments and other job tests, or it may be received directly from your employer or a research institution. CultureFactors may utilize third parties to assist us in the marketing and delivery of our services. This might involve the transfer of personal information across borders or to international organizations. In these instances, we have made the necessary arrangements to ensure that personal information is safeguarded and that privacy rights are maintained. We are responsible for the appropriate onward transfer of that information to third parties.
In certain circumstances, we might also be required to disclose personal information where necessary due to proper requests from public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements.

Inquiries will be responded to in a timely manner. Note that we may be required to retain data for compliance with a legal obligation to which we are subject. Further note that in certain situations, we may process data under the control of your employer and any deletion or amendment to that information may require your employer’s approval.
CultureFactors takes the appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent the loss, misuse, accidental or unlawful destruction, unauthorized disclosure, and unauthorized access to the personal information that we transmit, store, or otherwise process.
Minors & Those Under the age of 18
CultureFactors does not market or promote its services to those under the age of 18, and we will not knowingly collect or maintain data on those who have not reached the age of majority.
